The Irish Concrete Federation (ICF) are promoting a member-driven campaign for Quarry Safety Week 2019, which runs from Monday 9th – Friday 13th September. The key areas of Quarry Safety Week this year are focused on Vehicle and Pedestrian Safety in Quarries as well as other facilities across Kilsaran.
A few of our initiatives this week have included: Traffic management audits on our quarries, Tool Box Talks on vehicle and pedestrian safety, inspections/audits on our construction projects, senior management tours and inspections of our facilities, and finally, a visit by ICF Secretary, Joanne Boylan, to one of our sites to promote the initiative within the industry via the hashtag #QuarrySafetyWeek.
The week has been a very safe and productive one, as well as a great success. Thank you to all those who have been involved!
